1 Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident on West Saticoy Street [Lake Balboa, CA]
One Pronounced Dead after 2-Car Crash near Haskell Avenue
LAKE BALBOA, CA (February 22, 2024) – Tuesday morning, one victim was killed in a two-vehicle accident on West Saticoy Street.
Authorities responded to the 17300 block of West Saticoy Street around 9:42 a.m., near Haskell Avenue.
For reasons under investigation, the driver of a car and a pickup-truck collided. The pickup-truck then hit a nearby tree and a commercial building before damaging a natural gas meter.
First responders were able to stop the gas leak and prevent a fire from starting. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced a victim inside one of the vehicles dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the other patient, an adult female, sustained injuries. No further details regarding the two-vehicle crash on West Saticoy Street have been released. Officials will provide more information once available.
