21-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident near 5th Avenue Southwest

FEDERAL WAY, WA (February 21, 2024) – Saturday evening, Davon Nelson was killed in a pedestrian crash on Southwest Dash Point Road.

The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m., at the 500 block of Southwest Dash Point Road near 5th Avenue Southwest in the Buenna neighborhood.

Reports indicate that the driver of an unknown vehicle struck the male pedestrian and immediately fled the scene.

Medical personnel arrived and transported 21-year-old Nelson to Harborview Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
