33-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident near Balboa Avenue
DELANO, CA (February 19, 2024) – Saturday evening, Samuel Eliah Zecchini was fatally struck in a pedestrian collision on South Lexington Street.
Authorities responded to the scene around 9:20 p.m., near Balboa Avenue on February 3rd.
At this time, the circumstances that led up to the collision remain under investigation. However, reports indicate that the driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian in the area.
Medical responders transported the male pedestrian to Adventist Health in Delano where he succumbed to his injuries. The Kern County Coroner’s Office later identified the deceased victim as 33-year-old Zecchini, of Delano.
