53-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash near Tropicana Avenue
LAS VEGAS, NV (February 19, 2024) – Thursday evening, Beatrice Womack died in a pedestrian accident near South Nellis Boulevard.
The incident occurred around 8:25 p.m., at the 4575 block of South Nellis Boulevard, near East Tropicana Avenue.
According to reports, the female pedestrian was crossing Nellis outside of a marked or implied crosswalk. There, the driver of a southbound gray/silver sedan struck the woman.
Shortly after, the driver of a 2015 Honda CRZ also hit her. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced 53-year-old Womack, of Las Vegas dead at the scene.
Following preliminary duties, police were unable to locate the suspect driver. Those with additional information are encouraged to contact local officers as soon as possible.
