18-Year-Old Motorcycle Rider Pronounced Dead after Colliding with Two Vehicles

BROWNSVILLE, TX (February 16, 2024) – Late Friday evening, a deadly motorcycle-vehicle accident claimed the life of Ismael Cervantes.

On February 9th, at around 10:00 p.m., the Brownsville Police Department received a report following a collision involving two vehicles and an 18-year-old motorcyclist later identified as Ismael Cervantes.

Troopers arrived in the 600 block of North Frontage Road near Paredes Line Road and found Cervantes with extreme injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, medics later pronounced him dead at the scene.

Moreover, it was unknown if there were injuries to the occupants of both vehicles. At this time, no charges were filed against the two vehicles involved.
