Two Pronounced Dead after 2-Car Accident near Lone Tree Way
BRENTWOOD, CA (February 13, 2024) – Early Saturday morning, a head-on collision on Highway 4 claimed the lives of at least two people.
The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m., on the eastbound lanes of the freeway just west of Lone Tree Way.
Per reports, the driver of a blue Scion TC traveled west in the eastbound lanes of the highway. As a result, the Scion eventually collided head-on with an eastbound black Mazda.
Due to the impact of the crash, the drivers in both vehicles sustained fatal injuries at the scene. Emergency crews blocked all lanes of Highway 4 during cleanup and preliminary duties.
At this time, the identity of the deceased drivers remains undisclosed. Brentwood Officials are asking those with additional information regarding the fatal head-on collision on Highway 4 to contact CHP Contra Costa in Martinez at (925) 646-4980.
