36-Year-Old Driver Pronounced Dead after Rear-End Crash near Warden

GRANT COUNTY, WA (February 12, 2024) – Early Sunday morning, Jeremiah Gregg was killed in a rear-end collision on State Route 17.

Authorities responded to the scene around 2:00 a.m., near Warden on February 4th.

Per reports, Gregg was driving a 2021 Ford F-150 north and rear-ended a 1989 Toyota Camry. Upon impact, the Ford overturned before coming to rest on the southbound shoulder.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced 36-year-old Gregg dead at the scene. Investigators say he was not wearing a seat belt at the time.

Moreover, police say the Camry driver fled the scene without rendering aid or contacting police. An active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be provided.
