Bracia Paige Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Crash on 8th Street [Odessa, TX]
50-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident on Moody Avenue
ODESSA, TX (February 12, 2024) – Wednesday evening, Bracia Paige was fatally struck in a pedestrian crash on 8th Street.
Authorities responded to the scene just before 7:40 p.m., near Moody Avenue on January 24th.
Per reports, Gonzalez was heading west on the 100 block of 8th Street while 50-year-old Paige was attempting to cross outside of a marked crosswalk.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics later pronounced 50-year-old Paige dead at the scene.
Following preliminary duties, police arrested 25-year-old Gonzalez for criminal negligent homicide. Officers say he was operating the vehicle without a driver’s license and without insurance.
Crews later booked Gonzalez into the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
