Female Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Crash near Eastern Avenue
SACRAMENTO, CA (February 8, 2024) – Wednesday evening, one woman sustained fatal injuries in a pedestrian collision on Marconi Avenue.
Police responded to the scene around 8:50 p.m., near Eastern Avenue in the area of Arden-Arcade.
Per reports, the driver of a westbound white Tesla struck a woman who was crossing the street south.
Responding emergency personnel declared the female pedestrian dead at the scene. However, her name remains undisclosed to the public.
Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Police do not suspect alcohol and drugs to be a factor in the incident.
