Woman Hospitalized after Pedestrian Crash on Paradise Valley Road [San Diego, CA]
Auto-Pedestrian Collision Near Jester Street Resulted in Serious Injuries
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 7, 2024) – Early Saturday evening, a pedestrian crash on Paradise Valley Road sent one woman to a hospital.
The collision happened around 6:11 p.m. in the area of Paradise Valley Rd, near Jester Street in the Paradise Hills neighborhood.
Based on the initial investigation, the female pedestrian crossed the street and reached the curb. However, the woman turned back around and stepped into the path of an oncoming 2006 Hyundai Azera.
Responding medical personnel transported the woman to Scripps Mercy for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Police do not suspect intoxication to be a factor in the collision.
Currently, the San Diego Police Traffic Division is leading the investigation.
