Sarah Bingham Dead, Juan Ortiz Arrested after Pursuit Crash on Bank Street [Kingman, AZ]
21-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck in Pursuit Collision on Northern Avenue
KINGMAN, AZ (February 7, 2024) – Friday night, Sarah Bingham was killed and Juan Ortiz was arrested after a pursuit crash on Bank Street.
Authorities responded to the scene shortly after 8:00 p.m., near Northern Avenue on January 26th.
Officers conducted a traffic stop at a nearby car wash when the suspect rammed into two patrol vehicles. Ortiz then fled the scene and police began shooting fire.
Shortly after, Ortiz also struck another vehicle at the intersection, causing life-threatening injuries to the other driver. Medics arrived and pronounced 21-year-old Bingham, dead at the scene.
Authorities arrested 44-year-old Ortiz and took him into the Mohave County Jail where he faces multiple felony charges. Once available, further details will be provided.
