1 Pronounced Dead after SUV vs Bicycle Collision near Arch Airport Road
STOCKTON, CA (February 7, 2024) – Early Monday morning, one victim was killed in a bicycle accident on El Dorado Street.
The incident occurred shortly before 5:00 a.m., on the southbound lanes of the road near Arch Airport Road.
Per reports, the 32-year-old female driver of a 2012 Ford Edge rear-ended a bicyclist traveling in front of her. Upon impact, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the cyclist dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during clearing operations. Investigators say the weather conditions were wet and rainy at the time.
