11-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized after Bicycle Collision near Cliff Lake Street
LAS VEGAS, NV (February 7, 2024) – Tuesday morning, an 11-year-old boy sustained injuries in a bicycle accident on West Cactus Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene around 7:50 a.m., near Cliff Lake Street on January 30th.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, an 11-year-old boy was riding an electric bicycle through the intersection.
There, the driver of a 2012 Nissan Frontier then struck the young cyclist, ejecting him onto the road.
Responding paramedics transported the young boy to UMC Hospital where he was listed in critical condition. Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and was evaluated by officers.
