14-Year-Old Carson Student Dies in Pedestrian Accident on North Carson Street
CARSON CITY, NV (February 5, 2024) – Early Sunday evening, Lexi Rodriguez was fatally struck in a pedestrian collision on Nye Lane.
Authorities responded to the scene around 5:40 p.m., near North Carson Street on January 28th.
Per reports, the driver of a vehicle struck struck Rodriguez as she was crossing within the within a marked crosswalk. First responders located the pedestrian on the road with life-threatening injuries.
Responding authorities pronounced 14-year-old Rodriguez at the scene due to the severity of her injuries. Meanwhile, her boyfriend she was with at the time did not obtain injuries from the crash.
Investigators say Rodriguez was a student at Carson High School. She will be deeply missed by her community.
