41-Year-Old Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead after Fatal Collision near Colorado Avenue

LAS VEGAS, NV (February 1, 2024) – One man was fatally struck Sunday afternoon, after a motorcycle crash on South Lamb Boulevard.

Police responded to the scene shortly after 4:45 p.m., just north of Colorado Avenue on January 14th.

According to the LVMPD, the collision involved a 2012 Ford Edge and a 2015 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Per reports, the Ford driver was heading north on Lamb Boulevard while the rider was heading south.

For reasons under investigation, the driver turned in front of the motorcycle and struck the rider. Upon impact, the Ford was pushed into a private driveway.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported the 41-year-old male rider to Sunrise Hospital’s Trauma Center. Due to the extent of his condition, medics later pronounced the rider deceased at the hospital.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford stayed at the scene and cooperated with officials. He displayed no signs of impairment. Once available, more details will be provided about the motorcycle crash on South Lamb Boulevard.
