Unidentified Victim Fatally Injured in Head-On Accident near 339th Avenue

TONOPAH, AZ (February 1, 2024) – Sunday evening, one victim was pronounced dead after a two-vehicle collision on Indian School Road.

Authorities responded to the scene around 8:00 p.m., near 339th Avenue on January 28th.

For reasons under investigation, two vehicles collided head-on in the area. Medical personnel arrived and extricated one trapped occupant from inside the vehicle.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced one victim dead at the scene. Although, police have not yet released their identity.

In addition, paramedics transported the extricated victim to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. No additional information was added by the officials, and further investigation into the two-vehicle collision on Indian School Road is still underway.
