Female Pedestrian Pronounced Dead after Deadly Collision near 90th Street
OAKLAND, CA (January 31, 2024) – Sunday morning, one woman was fatally struck in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on MacArthur Boulevard.
Authorities responded to the scene shortly before 9:00 a.m., at the 9000 block of MacArthur Boulevard near 90th Street.
Per reports, the driver of a white Cadillac DeVille struck a woman who was walking south in the westbound lanes within a marked crosswalk.
The driver of the Cadillac fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim. Police have not yet described the suspect.
Medical responders transported the female pedestrian to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. At this time, her identity remains undisclosed to the public.
