Male Pedestrian Killed in Fatal Crash near South Industrial Way South
SEATTLE, WA (January 31, 2024) – Early Wednesday morning, one man was fatally struck in a pedestrian collision on 4th Avenue South.
Officers responded to the scene just before 5:00 a.m., near South Industrial Way on January 24th.
Per reports, the driver of a northbound vehicle struck a male pedestrian in the area. Upon impact, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Emergency medics located the male victim on the ground with no signs of life. Crews later pronounced him dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency.
Investigators say the pedestrian was not within a marked crosswalk at the time of the crash. At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
