Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Crash near State Route 57

ORANGE, CA (January 31, 2024) – Early Sunday morning, one man was fatally struck in a hit-and-run accident on Orangewood Avenue. 

Officers responded to the scene around 6:10 a.m., near State Route 57.

Per reports, a man was located on the south sidewalk with significant injuries. Investigators claimed that the victim had injuries consistent with being hit by a vehicle. 

First responders declared the man dead at the scene. However, his identity remains undisclosed to the public. 

At this time, police have not provided any additional information about the suspect or the suspect’s vehicle. Orange Officials are asking those who witnessed the fatal Orangewood Avenue hit-and-run to contact the police at (714) 744-7342.
