Two Fatally Struck in Head-On Accident near McQueen Road
CHANDLER, AZ (January 31, 2024) – Late Thursday evening, two victims were pronounced dead after a head-on collision on Hunt Highway.
Just before 10:15 p.m., police responded to the scene near McQueen Road on January 18th.
For reasons under investigation, two vehicles collided head-on. First responders located both vehicles with significant front-end damage.
Emergency medical personnel pronounced two people dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identities.
In addition, troopers transported another person to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Following preliminary duties, it was unknown if speed or impairment played a role in the collision.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, further details will be provided about the fatal head-on collision on Hunt Highway.
