Hit-and-Run near Big Rock Drive Resulted in Injuries
MALIBU, CA (January 30, 2024) – Thursday evening, a four-vehicle crash near Big Rock Drive sent at least one person to a hospital.
Police responded to the crash around 6:40 p.m. along PCH in the area of Big Rock Drive, five miles east of Malibu Pier.
According to a witness, a vehicle traveling over 100 mph collided head-on with several vehicles. However, the driver of the speeding vehicle exited their car and fled the scene on foot.
Responding units from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department claimed that at least four vehicles were involved in the crash.
In addition, medical personnel transported one person from the wreckage to a hospital for unspecified injuries.
At this time, the police have not released any additional information about the suspect’s whereabouts. Malibu Officials are asking those with additional information about the Big Rock Drive four-vehicle crash to contact them as soon as possible.
