54-Year-Old Woman Killed in Head-On Collision near Lincoln Road
SUTTER COUNTY, CA (January 30, 2024) – Adrienne Maloney was arrested Saturday afternoon after a fatal crash on George Washington Boulevard.
The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m., just south of Lincoln Road.
Officers say the driver of a white Honda Accord veered into the path of a blue Mazda 3. As a result, the two vehicles collided head-on.
Medical personnel arrived and transported a passenger from inside the Mazda to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Officials only described the deceased victim as a 54-year-old woman from Roseville.
Meanwhile, the Mazda driver remained at the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Following preliminary duties, officers say the driver of the Honda Accord displayed signs of intoxication. Police arrested 38-year-old Maloney, of Yuba City for felony DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.
At this time, Sutter County Officials continue to investigate the fatal crash.
