Two Hospitalized, One Arrested after DUI Pedestrian Collision near Cedarwood Drive
PASO ROBLES, CA (January 29, 2024) – Police arrested Nicacio Antonio Mendoza Monday night, after a DUI accident on Creston Road.
Authorities responded to the scene around 9:43 p.m., near Cedarwood Drive after receiving multiple dispatch calls.
Per reports, the driver of a vehicle struck two pedestrians in the area. The driver then fled the scene before they were eventually pulled over by police.
Paramedics arrived and rushed two victims to a nearby hospital for further treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, officers arrested the driver, 47-year-old Nicacio Antonio Mendoza, for driving under the influence. Mendoza is currently being held at the San Luis Obispo County Jail, with bail set at $100,000.
