Cyclist Hospitalized after Pickup-Truck Collision near Indian School Road
PHOENIX, AZ (January 29, 2024) – Friday evening, a female cyclist was critically injured in a pickup-truck crash on 51st Avenue.
The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m., near Indian School Road on January 19th.
Officers say the driver of a pickup-truck was attempting to make a left turn onto Indian School Road and struck a cyclist who was riding along the crosswalk. Upon impact, the driver remained at the scene and displayed no signs of impairment.
Paramedics arrived and transported the female cyclist to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Although, police have not yet released her identity.
