Driver Pronounced Dead after Multi-Vehicle Crash on State Route 900 [Skyway, WA]
Driver Killed in Four-Vehicle Collision near 129th Street
SKYWAY, WA (January 29, 2024) – Early Tuesday morning, police responded to a fatal multi-vehicle crash on State Route 900.
According to WSP Trooper Rick Johnson, the incident happened just before 5:30 a.m., January 9th, near the South 129th Street area.
Furthermore, they arrived at the scene and found four vehicles colliding with each other.
Moreover, the driver sustained fatal injuries, and responding paramedics immediately transported the injured victim to the hospital.
Consequently, the authorities asked the drivers to find an alternate route and the traffic along the area was halted. All lanes were reopened after it was cleared.
At this time, the police have yet to reveal the identity of the deceased. An active investigation into what led to the crash is still ongoing.
