Aquazia Kennedy Fatally Injured in Auto Collision on South Second Avenue [Dallas, TX]
19-Year-Old Pregnant Woman Dies in Car Accident near Interstate 30
DALLAS, TX (January 29, 2024) – Saturday morning, Aquazia Kennedy sustained fatal injuries in an auto collision on South Second Avenue.
The incident took place shortly after 2:30 a.m., near Interstate 30 on January 6th.
Per reports, an off-duty officer was driving a Jeep Wrangler and slammed into a stalled Chevrolet Malibu with its hazard lights on.
The father of Aquazia, Quincy Kennedy, says 19-year-old Aquazia was pregnant and was with her two brothers in the Chevy. Medics arrived and transported all occupants, including the officer, to a nearby hospital.
Aquazia succumbed to her injuries, however doctors were able to safely deliver her baby, Sky’Lynn.
Following preliminary duties, no charges were filed against the officer. At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
