One Killed in Head-On Crash near Milepost 267

FOUR LAKES, WA (January 25, 2024) – Early Thursday morning, police responded to a head-on accident that happened on Interstate 90.

It occurred around 5:25 a.m., January 11th, in the westbound lanes of the interstate near milepost 267 involving two vehicles that collided head-on.

Upon arriving, the officers saw one person trapped inside a vehicle. Crews were able to extricate the trapped person, and the victim sustained serious injuries.

Furthermore, the authorities transported both drivers to the hospital, and an update was released which stated that one person died.

Also, the troopers advised passing motorists to avoid the area while they blocked it and conduct clearing operations. All lanes have been reopened since.

At this time, the identities of the people involved were not yet disclosed. Once available, further details will be provided about the fatal head-on accident on Interstate 90.
