61-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash near West Roosevelt Street
AZUSA, CA (January 25, 2024) – Friday night, John Sigala was fatally struck in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Irwindale Avenue.
The incident occurred around 9:59 p.m., near West Roosevelt Street.
For reasons under investigation, the driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian who was attempting to cross Irwindale Avenue. Upon impact, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, paramedics later pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. Authorities later identified the deceased victim as 61-year-old Sigala, of Avondale.
