26-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Single-Car Accident near Garfield Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 25, 2024) – Early Sunday morning, Benjamin Ruano was fatally struck in a solo-vehicle crash on 5 Freeway.
Police responded to the scene around 5:35 a.m., near Garfield Avenue.
At this time, the circumstances that led up to the incident remain unclear. However, responding emergency personnel declared the sole occupant of the vehicle dead at the scene.
