Big Rig Vs Car Collision Near River Road Left One 46-Year-Old Woman Dead
MODESTO, CA (January 24, 2024) – On Friday evening, Alexander Patrice was involved in a deadly head-on collision along Highway 132.
The CHP responded to the fatal crash around shortly before 10:00 p.m. along the westbound lanes of the highway, near River Road.
According to the report, a BMW traveling west on 132 veered into the eastbound lanes for unknown reasons. As a result, the driver collided head-on with a big rig hauling a tank trailer going in the opposite direction.
Unfortunately, the first responders declared the 46-year-old woman driving the BMW dead at the scene. Her identity remains undisclosed to the public, pending notification from the next of kin.
Meanwhile, the big rig driver, identified as 58-year-old Alexander Patrice of Santa Rosa, did not sustain any injuries. Authorities are working to determine whether drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash.
Modesto Officials closed the westbound Highway 132 for at least an hour to conduct an investigation.
