Victoria Vasquez, Joseph Hernandez and Moses Hernandez Killed in Head-On Crash on South Grand Street [Amarillo, TX]
Three Pronounced Dead after Wrong-Way Accident near Comanche Trail Golf Course
AMARILLO, TX (January 23, 2024) – Thursday, Victoria Vasquez, Joseph Hernandez, and Moses Hernandez died in a crash on South Grand Street.
Dispatchers received calls on January 11th, near the Comanche Trail Golf Course.
Per reports, 17-year-old Vicky was driving a Lexus at speeds over 100 mph. She then crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a Chevrolet Impala head-on.
Upon impact, Vicky was ejected from the vehicle onto the road. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics later pronounced her dead at the scene.
In addition, the driver and passenger of the Chevrolet Impala, 37-year-old Joseph Hernandez, and 38-year-old Moses Hernandez sustained fatal injuries.
At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be provided.
