Leo Espinoza Dies in Rollover Accident on Interstate 80 [Verdi, NV]
58-Year-Old Driver Pronounced Dead after Rollover Collision near Gold Ranch Road
VERDI, NV (January 22, 2024) – Leo Espinoza suffered fatal injuries Friday morning, in a rollover accident on Interstate 80.
Around 9:00 a.m., police responded to the scene on the eastbound lanes of the freeway near Gold Ranch Road.
Per reports, Espinoza was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado east and lost control of the vehicle due to the icy road. As a result, the Chevy struck a guardrail before overturning and coming to rest on its roof.
Despite life-saving efforts, paramedics later pronounced 58-year-old Espinoza, of Sparks dead at the scene.
