2 Drivers Pronounced Dead after Wrong-Way Accident near East Camp Wisdom Road
DALLAS, TX (January 18, 2024) – Tuesday morning, two drivers were killed in a wrong-way crash on South R. L. Thornton Freeway.
The incident occurred around 1:35 a.m., near East Camp Wisdom Road.
For reasons under investigation, the driver of a pickup-truck was heading south in the northbound lanes. As a result, the wrong-way vehicle crashed head-on into a northbound car.
Moreover, the drivers of the car and the pickup both died at the scene.
Meanwhile, authorities transported one female passenger to a nearby hospital for further treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
