Man Dead, Woman Badly Injured in Pedestrian Hit-and-Run on South Craycroft Road [Tucson, AZ]
Two Pedestrians Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver Leaving One Person Dead on East 29th Street
TUCSON, AZ (January 16, 2024) – On Thursday evening, one man died in a hit-and-run on South Craycroft Road, police said.
The incident took place at South Craycroft Road and East 29th Street around 10:00 p.m., January 4th.
Upon arrival, Tucson Police Officers found the man and the woman on the roadway with serious injuries.
Consequently, the responding paramedics transported the woman to Banner University Medical Center for treatment, and unfortunately, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Furthermore, the authorities learned that the man and the woman crossed against a red light and got struck by the vehicle.
Moreover, the vehicle immediately fled the scene just before the authorities arrived. Further investigation is still ongoing.
