Ramon Saucedo Fatally Struck in Auto Accident on Loop 410 Access Road [San Antonio, TX]
40-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Alamo Downs Parkway
SAN ANTONIO, TX (January 15, 2024) – Saturday night, Ramon Saucedo was fatally struck in an auto accident on Loop 410 Access Road.
Authorities responded to the scene around 11:20 p.m., at the 6900 block of Northwest Loop 410 Access Road near Alamo Downs Parkway.
Reports indicate that Saucedo was standing on the bed of a black 2007 Ford Explorer Sportrac with its hazard lights on.
Saucedo was retrieving a car jack at the time, in attempt to help someone with a flat tire.
Shortly after, the driver of a red 2001 Mitsubishi Galant was exiting Loop 410 and struck the victim. Paramedics arrived and took 40-year-old Saucedo to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Following preliminary duties, police say impairment and distracted driving do not appear to be factors. Those with further information regarding the accident are encouraged to contact local authorities as soon as possible.
