24-Year-Old Man Arrested after DUI Accident near Grace McCarthy Vista Point

PACIFICA, CA (January 12, 2024) – Monday night, police arrested Rashid Almaznai after a DUI collision on Sharp Park Road.

Officers responded to the scene around 9:20 p.m., at the 400 block of Sharp Park Road near Grace McCarthy Vista Point.

Almanznai was driving a gray Toyota Corolla and collided with two parked vehicles. Upon impact, a passenger inside one of the vehicles sustained minor injuries.

Paramedics arrived and took the injured victim to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Meanwhile, officers arrested 24-year-old Almaznai, of Colma for driving under the influence. 

Officials booked Almaznai into the San Mateo County Jail in Redwood City for felony DUI causing injury.
