Driver and Two Passengers Injured in Rollover Incident on Holy Road
HARRIS COUNTY, TX (January 11, 2024) – On Thursday, three people sustained injuries in a crash on Holy Road.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a 68-year-old man with two passengers drove a garbage truck.
Moreover, the passengers involved a 39-year-old and a 22-year-old man collecting trash on its route.
Furthermore, the garbage truck went into a 4-inch-wide pothole causing it to overturn and end up in a ditch. The driver was ejected from the truck while the two passengers were able to jump out.
Consequently, the first responders arrived at the scene and transported all three of them to the hospital where the driver was listed in critical state. At the same time, the two passengers sustained minor injuries.
Moreover, the two passengers were released afterward. Motorists were advised to avoid the area due to the incident, and an active investigation is ongoing.
Additionally, both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed.
