Bobby Spencer Dead, Olivia Harris Arrested after Solo-Car Crash on 109th Avenue [Sun City, AZ]
53-Year-Old Passenger Pronounced Dead after Single-Vehicle Collision near Sun City Boulevard
SUN CITY, AZ (January 11, 2024) – Early Wednesday evening, Bobby Spencer was killed in a solo-car crash on 109th Avenue.
Police responded to the scene around 5:30 p.m., near Sun City Boulevard just north of Peoria Avenue on December 13th.
Officers say 58-year-old Olivia Harris was driving a Chevrolet pickup-truck with 53-year-old Spencer as a passenger. For DUI related reasons, Harris lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a nearby palm tree.
First responders located the vehicle with extensive damage on its passenger side.
Paramedics arrived and transported Harris to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers determined that Harris was under the influence of alcohol and was speeding at the time of the incident.
Moreover, charges against Harris are pending, and the MCSO Vehicular Crimes Unit is investigating the incident.
