One Dead, Two Others Hospitalized in Two-Vehicle Crash on Woodman Avenue [Los Angeles, CA]
Mother and Daughter Critically Injured after Fatal Car Collision near Oxnard Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 10, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, a two-vehicle crash on Woodman Avenue left one dead and two other people seriously injured.
The fatal collision happened around 12:50 p.m. at the 6000 North Woodman Avenue, just north of Oxnard Street.
According to the report, a gray pickup truck crashed into a small white sedan, trapping two people inside the car.
Unfortunately, one of the occupants of the white car died at the scene. Paramedics rushed the other passenger to a hospital where they remained in critical condition.
Meanwhile, three people inside the truck suffered injuries but are expected to survive. Authorities are working to determine if drugs or alcohol contributed to the incident.
Additionally, a large portion of the roadway was temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the avenue has since been reopened.
