42-Year-Old Woman Arrested after Fatal Pedestrian Accident near Central Avenue

PITTSBURG, CA (January 10, 2024) – Saturday, one man was killed and a woman was arrested after a hit-and-run collision on Railroad Avenue. 

Police responded to the scene at the 1200 block of Railroad Avenue near Central Avenue. 

Upon arrival, officers discovered the male victim lying in the roadway with serious injuries. The man later succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a local hospital. 

After further investigation, authorities learned that a vehicle hit the victim and fled the scene. 

Eventually, police managed to locate and arrest the 42-year-old Pittsburg woman with the help of the Traffic Division and detectives.
