Semi-Truck Driver Dies in Fatal Four-Vehicle Collision on Milepost 168

WICKENBURG, AZ (January 10, 2024) – On Tuesday morning, police responded to a crash on US Highway 93 that killed one driver.

The incident happened on January 2nd around 10:45 a.m. at milepost 168 involving two semi-trucks and two passenger vehicles.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a Circle K semi-truck was traveling southbound.

Consequently, it veered over to the center lane and collided with the other semi-truck with a trailer.

Furthermore, the impact sent the Circle K semi-truck rolled over multiple times and ended up in a ditch where the driver was killed.

Meanwhile, the other semi-truck crashed into two other vehicles. Luckily, no other injuries were reported as a result of the collision.

At this time, the identity of the semi-truck driver was not yet disclosed by the authorities. Also, the troopers blocked all lanes, and it was reopened by 5:00 p.m. Further investigation is currently underway.
