44-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash on State Highway 8

NEW BOSTON, TX (January 10, 2024) – Late Sunday night, police responded to a pedestrian crash that took the life of Alisha McCuller Parker.

Officers responded to the scene just after 1:00 p.m., on the northbound lanes of the freeway on December 31st.

According to reports, 53-year-old Ann Lee Green was driving a 2023 Chevrolet Trax SUV and struck Parker who was crossing the road.

Upon impact, Green remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Responding medics later pronounced 44-year-old Parker dead at the scene, due to the extent of her condition.

No additional information was added at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.
