Pedestrian Crash Near Main Street Left 72-Year-Old Grandfather Dead
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (January 10, 2023) – Wednesday evening, a hit-and-run collision on Adams Boulevard claimed the life of 72-year-old Alberto Castañeda Aco.
According to the report, a vehicle struck Castaneda around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Adams Boulevard and Main Street.
Investigators said a stolen Infiniti sedan from Uphill, California ran past a red light and hit the victim.
In addition, a witness claimed that two men and two women abandoned the vehicle carrying a tank of Nitrous Oxide.
Unfortunately, the collision claimed the life of the male pedestrian. Alberto left behind his wife, five children, eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
The relatives of Aco started a GoFundMe page to help with funeral expenses.
