1 Killed, 2 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Byron Highway [Byron, CA]
One Pronounced Dead after Head-On Collision near Clifton Court Road
BYRON, CA (January 10, 2024) – Saturday evening, one victim was killed and two were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Byron Highway.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:25 p.m., on the northbound lanes of the freeway near Clifton Court Road.
According to reports, the driver of a northbound white Chevrolet Silverado collided head-on with an oncoming gray Kia sedan.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the driver of the Kia dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics airlifted the Chevy driver to John Muir Health Walnut Creek Medical Center while another passenger was taken by ambulance.
