Thomas Toledo Hospitalized, Keandre Nash Arrested after DUI Motorcycle Crash on McKee Street [Dallas, TX]
30-Year-Old Man Injured in DUI Motorcycle Collision near Botham Jean Boulevard
DALLAS, TX (January 9, 2024) – Monday morning, Keandre Nash was arrested and Thomas Toledo was hurt in a DUI crash on McKee Street.
The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m., at the 800 block of McKee Street near Botham Jean Boulevard on January 1st.
Officers say 26-year-old Nash was driving a 2011 gray Nissan Titan when he struck a gray Range Rover. As a result, a verbal and physical altercation began.
Nash then accelerated his truck in attempt to flee, and struck Toledo who was standing on his motorcycle at the intersection. In addition, Nash also struck a nearby Jeep Wrangler.
The vehicles were sent into a building where Toledo was found with serious injuries. Paramedics arrived and transported Toledo to Parkland Hospital where his left leg required amputation.
During cleanup and preliminary duties, authorities arrested Nash and booked him into jail where he faces charges of intoxicated assault with a vehicle, causing serious bodily injury.
At this time, Toledo is still recovering from his injuries, and his family posted a GoFundMe page for medical expenses.
