22-Year-Old and 40-Year-Old Men Pronounced Dead after Single-Vehicle Collision near Pecan Boulevard

MCALLEN, TX (January 9, 2024) – Early Friday morning, a deadly crash claimed the lives of Daniel Guadalupe Saenz and Nathan Gower Schwarz.

According to the McAllen Police Department, the incident happened just after 2:00 a.m., near 12th Street on December 29th.

Per reports, 22-year-old Saenz was driving west and lost control of his vehicle. As a result, the car slammed into a power pole.

Medical personnel arrived and took 22-year-old Saenz, of McAllen and his passenger, 40-year-old Schwartz, of Pharr to a nearby hospital where they passed away.
