Engine Truck Collision near California Street Resulted in Injuries
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (January 3, 2024) – A firetruck crash on Lyon Street last Friday afternoon left three firefighters hospitalized.
The collision happened shortly before 3:00 p.m. in the area of Lyon and California Street in Lower Pacific Heights.
According to the report, Engine 10 and Truck 10 collided with each other while responding to a reported fire at separate locations.
The impact of the crash caused one of the engines to crash on three parked vehicles at the side of the roadway.
Medical responders transported three firefighters to a hospital and are expected to make a full recovery.
