Female Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near Tilden Street
VISALIA, CA (January 2, 2024) – Tuesday morning, one woman was fatally struck in a pedestrian crash on West Vine Avenue.
Police responded to the incident around 9:30 p.m. at the 3900 block of West Vine Avenue, near Tilden Street.
Upon arrival, the officers learned that a vehicle backing out of a driveway accidentally hit the pedestrian on the sidewalk.
Responding medical personnel transported the female victim to a hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the site of the incident and cooperated with the investigators. At this time, the Visalia Police Department Traffic Unit is leading the investigation.
