Two-Vehicle Collision on Loop 410 Involves and Left a Pedestrian with Injuries
SAN ANTONIO, TX (January 2, 2024) – On Monday evening, a pedestrian sustained injuries in an accident on Roosevelt Avenue.
The accident happened on December 25th around 8:00 a.m. involving a Lexus IS 250, a Chevrolet Equinox, and one pedestrian.
Upon initial investigation, the responding troopers determined that the Lexus headed southbound on Roosevelt Avenue while the Chevy headed northbound.
As the Lexus made a left turn onto Loop 410 access road, he failed to yield the right-of-way and got struck by the Chevy.
Furthermore, the impact of the collision sent the Lexus onto the sidewalk causing it to crash into a 67-year-old man.
Moreover, the man suffered serious injuries, and responding paramedics transported him to SAMMC for immediate medical attention.
Following the crash, the authorities evaluated both drivers and the driver of the Lexus displayed signs of intoxication. Authorities then charged the driver with Intoxicated Assault.
The authorities have not released additional information, and the names of all involved parties were not stated.
