Stephen Liscano Dies in 2-Car Accident on Highway 180 [Fresno County, CA]
35-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Car Collision near Hayes Avenue
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (December 28, 2023) – Wednesday morning, Stephen Liscano was killed in a 2-car accident on Highway 180.
Around 7:00 p.m., police responded to the scene on the southbound lanes of the freeway near Hayes Avenue.
Per reports, the driver of a Honda sedan traveled through a posted stop sign at the intersection. Consequently, the Honda collided with a Hyundai traveling west on the same highway.
Upon impact, both vehicles veered into a nearby field before coming to rest. First responders transported the male Honda driver to Community Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities later identified the deceased driver as 35-year-old Liscano.
Meanwhile, the female Hyundai driver was hospitalized for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The California Highway Patrol does not suspect intoxication to be a factor in the collision.
